Shroud MushroomRevelwood

Glide northeast from Revelwood Ancient Spire and axe mushroom stalks at the Shroud edge. This Revelwood route gives you a nearby way out of the mist when gathering Shroud Mushrooms in Enshrouded. Bring a glider, an axe, and gear for a fight; staying near the edge makes retreat easier, but enemies can still be there.

Where to Find Shroud Mushrooms in Enshrouded: Revelwood's Shroud Edge

Look for tall mushroom stalks in the Revelwood Shroud, especially on the mist-covered cliff northeast of Revelwood Ancient Spire. You want the upper cliff edge below the tower rather than the deep valley.

Look northeast from the spire toward the rocky edge where clear ground meets the Shroud.

Fast travel to Revelwood Ancient Spire, then head to its northeastern side. On the world map, the harvesting area lies northeast of the spire, beside the edge of the blue Shroud area.

Tall stalks can grow alone or in clusters along paths and open ground. Look for green light beneath their caps. Shroud Mushrooms also grow in the Kindle Wastes, but Revelwood gives you this short approach from a spire.

Dense mushroom clusters can coincide with dense enemy groups. For a small supply, favor stalks near your exit over pushing farther into the Shroud. Banshee or wraith-like enemies can guard this area, so come ready to fight; survival flasks can help with the trip.

How to Farm Shroud Mushrooms Quickly: Glide, Chop, Retreat

Keep the gathering trip short: glide to the cliff edge, chop the nearby stalks, and run back out of the Shroud. The useful part of this route is the nearby exit, so keep it within easy reach as you harvest.

Glide toward the upper cliff edge

Drop from the northeastern side of the spire and deploy your glider toward the mist-covered cliff. Aim for the edge rather than descending into the deep valley, where getting out takes more attention to your remaining Shroud time.

Find a tall mushroom stalk near the landing area

Look for a stalk with a large cap and green-lit ground around it. Keep an eye on the ENSHROUDED timer at the top of your screen while you move into harvesting range.

Chop the stalk with your axe

Cut the stalk as you would a tree to collect Shroud Mushrooms. You're harvesting the tall stalk itself, so bring your axe into reach of its stem.

One player's June 15, 2026 gathering run yielded 3 Shroud Mushrooms from one stalk. Treat that as a single harvest result rather than a fixed yield for every plant.

Follow the nearby stalks, then leave the mist

Continue along the line of mushrooms if you still need more and have time to spare. Once you have enough, run back to the clear ground at the edge and fast travel home. Chasing another stalk deeper in trades away the route's main advantage: an easy retreat.

What to Use Shroud Mushrooms For: Goo and Alchemical Base

Keep Shroud Mushrooms for crafting materials such as Goo and Alchemical Base rather than eating them. They are inedible, and those processing recipes give your harvest a practical next use.

For the next crafting step, follow how to get Goo in Enshrouded. Alchemical Base also uses Shroud Mushrooms, with Corrosive Blood added to its recipe in the April 21, 2026 changes. Check the recipe in your crafting menu before deciding how much to gather, since recipe costs have changed.

If you're gathering several resources on the same outing, use the Enshrouded list of materials to choose your next stop after leaving the Shroud.

What Changed for Shroud Mushroom Runs: Terrain, Timers, and Recipes

Revelwood's terrain and plants were reworked, Shroud time extensions became less effective when stacked, and crafting costs were reduced. Plan your gathering around the terrain and countdown you see in-game.

ChangeWhat it means for your run
October 14, 2026: Revelwood terrain, plants, and forest density reworkedNavigate by the spire, Shroud boundary, and nearby exit rather than expecting every plant or rock to match an older route.
October 14, 2026: stacked Shroud time extensions weakened; more hourglass capsules addedWatch your current countdown and leave room to retreat.
April 21, 2026: Alchemical Base needs fewer Shroud Mushrooms and adds Corrosive Blood; Goo costs reducedRead the crafting menu before farming a large stockpile.
October 14, 2026: Alchemical Base and armor recipes rebalanced againPlan around the costs displayed for your recipe.

Gliders also received a lower Shroud Adhesive requirement in the October crafting changes, which matters if you're preparing your gliding equipment before the trip.

Take your mushrooms home and turn the harvest into the Goo your next craft needs.
