Mine Silver Ore in the Shrouded valley south of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, then smelt it into Silver Bars. For this silver ore location in Enshrouded, prepare for Flame Level 6 access and enemies around level 28. The bars are what you need for later Flame Altar progression and equipment crafting.
Where to Find Silver Ore in Albaneve Summits
Look for mineable silver deposits in the Shrouded valley south of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire. You want the jagged metallic formations protruding from the rock, rather than ordinary stone.

For a concentrated mining trip, head to the Elixir Well between the Albaneve Summits and Nomad Highlands Ancient Spires. Clear the enemies, boss and Shroud Root, then search north of the root and continue along the path for more veins.
You can also look north of the Shroud Root southeast of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, or in the Shrouded area east of Wildwater Basin. Keep those landmarks separate when navigating; the valley route is a straightforward starting point.
Forge of Obsidia has small amounts in troughs near the forge. Pick these up if you are already there for the Bellows, but choose the larger deposits for a dedicated mining trip. Scavengers can also drop ore at random, so hunting them is a less dependable way to fill your inventory.
How to Farm Silver Ore Quickly from the Ancient Spire
Fast-travel to the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire and glide south into the valley to cut down the approach on foot. Bring a pickaxe, Shroud Flasks, healing supplies and enough ammunition to handle the enemies before you settle in to mine.
Start above the valley
Use the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire as your launch point and descend south into the Shroud.

Clear space before mining
At the Elixir Well, deal with the enemies and boss, then destroy the Shroud Root. Search north of the root and follow the path to the next deposits instead of leaving after the first vein.
Mine the metallic formations
Equip your pickaxe and use Mine on the deposit. Watch for the Silver Ore pickup notification so you know you are hitting the right material. Keep an eye on your Shroud timer as you work; another swing is a poor trade if it leaves you without time to get out.
Destroying the Shroud Root only clears part of the Elixir Well. Other sections remain Shrouded. The hole leading directly to the boss room is a risky shortcut: a bad landing in the red Shroud lake kills you instantly. Take the normal approach if you cannot control the landing.
How to Turn Silver Ore into Bars for the Flame Altar
Smelt your ore in a Blast Furnace to get Silver Bars for Flame upgrades and late equipment such as armor and shields. Keep raw ore and bars separate in your plans for materials to upgrade the Flame.
To unlock the furnace, follow the Blacksmith quest to Forge of Obsidia, defeat the Scavenger boss and collect the Bellows. Bring the Bellows and the remaining crafting materials back to the Blacksmith, craft the furnace and place it at your base. If you still need its other ingredients, check where to find clay and where to find iron before another gathering trip.
Older Silver Bars recipes differ, so check the recipe displayed in your furnace before gathering fuel:
| Recipe date | Ingredients → output | Craft time |
|---|---|---|
| December 5, 2024 | 20 Silver Ore + 10 Coal → 20 Silver Bars | 12 minutes |
| September 17, 2026 | 20 Silver Ore + 40 Coal → 20 Silver Bars | 10 minutes |
These are earlier recipes, not a shopping list for your current furnace.

Bring Coal, which you mine, rather than Charcoal made in a kiln. Check the ingredient names in the furnace before you head back out.
Silver Ore Changes: Mining and Flame Upgrade Costs
The October 14, 2026 update reduced the materials needed for Flame Levels 6, 7, 8 and 9. It also increased higher tier pickaxe damage, adjusted the toughness of several mining materials, and reworked the output and production times of numerous factory recipes.
For your silver run, read the Flame Altar requirements and furnace recipe before deciding how much to stockpile. The earlier Flame Level 8 requirement of 50 Silver Bars, dated July 10, 2026, predates that reduction. Plan around the amount your altar asks for rather than carrying that old target into your next upgrade.
Take your ore home, smelt the bars, and set aside what your next Flame Altar upgrade needs before spending the rest on equipment.
